About
Singer/Songwriter
Andrew Zap, a Brooklyn-based musician and visual artist, originally hailing from a small town just 25 miles north of NYC, has pursued a diverse career as both a solo artist and the creative force behind Zap & The Naturals. His musical journey has taken him across stages in the U.S. and Europe, where he's been fortunate to share billing with respected acts such as State Radio, G-Love & Special Sauce, and reggae icon Luciano. Notable collaborations include State Radio's Chuck Fay, whose mixing talents shaped Zap & The Naturals' 2013 release, Half Past Three, with Chuck and G-Love & Special Sauce's Jimmy Jazz contributing to the standout track "Bring The Sun," featured in Kathy Leichter's 2014 documentary, Here One Day. His last solo EP, Dope Focus, released in 2016, reflects his enduring passion for soul and reggae music, a collaborative effort with producer and former bandmate Joel Pixley-Fink. After taking time for reflection and creative renewal, Andrew eagerly anticipates the upcoming release of his latest single, "Let Me Out," scheduled to debut on July 21, 2024.
